About Me – Eshan Shah

Hi! My name is Eshan Shah. I am a UI/UX Designer and Developer. I have a passion for designing beautiful and functional user experiences. I focus on writing clean, elegant and efficient code.

I am very comfortable working with HTML, CSS, Javascript and frameworks like Angular and React. I constantly teach myself new things.

I follow basic UX principles in all of my work. I particularly enjoy prototyping, wireframing and user testing.

I listen to EDM. I play guitar. I love travelling. I’m a gamer.

My design process is user-centered and iterative. I follow what I call the ‘UX Pinwheel’, where each stage is centered around the user.

Worked as Graduate Assistant for Real-Time Embedded Systems course @ NYU. My focus was helping students with coding issues in C programming. I got an opportunity to engage in many embedded projects during the course.

Research Assistant @ NYU

Developed a database application (PHP, MySQL) for correlation network analysis on awards and grants in specific industries. The application was developed to assist in a research paper for the Environmental Studies department in NYU.

Moved to New York

August 3, 2014

After working for 2 years in India, I moved to New York to pursue Masters of Science at New York University. New York is awesome and I loved it there! And yes, this picture is the only time I’ve been to Times Square willingly.

Project Engineer @ Wipro Technologies

Started working at Wipro in 2012 as a Project Engineer. In my 2 years at Wipro, I collaborated with multiple teams, worked on technologies like AS400 (IBM), developed Android applications and got awarded for it! I learnt team-work, patience and taking responsibility.
